Getting Here by Train

White Plains is served by the Metro-North Railroad Harlem Line from Grand Central Terminal. Our office is in downtown White Plains, which is served by the White Plains Metro-North station.

Near the Federal Courts

Our office is in the same downtown as the federal courts that hear Westchester cases. The United States District Court for the Southern District of New York hears cases at the Charles L. Brieant Jr. Federal Building and Courthouse, 300 Quarropas Street, White Plains, NY 10601. The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York also sits at 300 Quarropas Street. The court's own visitor information notes that the courthouse is a few blocks from the White Plains Metro-North station.

Carl Rausa, Esq. and Patrick Russo, Esq. are both admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Their full admissions are listed on our Jurisdictions and Admissions page.

Communities We Serve

From our office in White Plains, we represent consumers throughout Westchester County, including White Plains, Yonkers, New Rochelle, Mount Vernon, and Scarsdale, as well as the Bronx and the wider New York City metro area. We also represent consumers across New York State. We do not maintain offices in these communities; our only office is in White Plains.

Beyond New York

Our only office is in White Plains, New York. Carl Rausa, Esq. is individually admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and is admitted to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Patrick Russo, Esq. is individually admitted to practice law in the State of Washington. The firm does not maintain offices in New Jersey or Washington.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681p) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (15 U.S.C. § 1692k(d)) provide for federal court jurisdiction over claims arising under those statutes. Because consumer protection statutes such as the FCRA and FDCPA are federal law, we are frequently able to represent consumers located in other states by bringing cases in courts where we are admitted.

For consumer protection matters that cannot be brought in courts where the firm is admitted, Rausa Russo Law, PLLC maintains a network of trusted consumer protection attorneys across the country. Any referral will be disclosed to you in accordance with the applicable rules of professional conduct.
